Youth Catalyst Pakistan (YCP), in collaboration with Rotary International, had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation of Rotarians from Japan during their recent visit to Pakistan. The delegation conducted oversight visits to YCP’s Mother, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) and Rotary Immunization Centers in Tarnol and Maira Abadi, Islamabad.
YCP CEO Tayyaba Gul and Program Manager Asher Ali warmly welcomed the guests and provided a comprehensive overview of services being delivered. The delegation reviewed MNCH services, routine immunization, and polio vaccination efforts, while also interacting with children and frontline health staff. They appreciated the quality, reach, and impact of YCP’s work in underserved and high-risk communities.
The visiting Rotarians have been supporting YCP’s polio eradication efforts for the past five years and also extended significant assistance during the 2025 flood response at a large scale. Their continued partnership reflects a strong commitment to improving community health outcomes in Pakistan.
During the visit, the delegation distributed gifts among children and participated in polio vaccination activities, further strengthening community engagement and awareness.
